Where is the Prince

Now many a one dayers and tests have gone by without seeing Ganguly in the frontline. Guess the poor and pathetic batting show from the Indian Top order (where the last five wickets have better partnerships than the first five) should be a cause of concern for the team management. Sehwag and Tendulkar look out of sorts in the middle and might be better to replace their opening pair with something like, say, Dhoni and Ganguly. May not work, but at least it would be a great mix of youth and class. Herculian as it may seem, I wish to see one last roar from the man they call the Prince of Kolkata. Would love to see the Prince of Kolkata making some inroads into the opposition bowling.

Somethings r impossible

There is something in this world which is near impossible. Bet ol' Napolean wont be able to accomplish that. And that is pleasing everybody around you. Still wondering when is the right time to break the ice. Problem arise when you hide your honest feelings from others, so that they dont get hurt.

Now the other day my landlady came with one of her potential paying guests. And crashed right into my room. She didnt mind opening up my cupboard to show how spacious they were. Truly, as if it wasnt enough she, just spelt the letters of the word cleanliness to all present there.

She explained to me how the paint would come off the cupboards and how it cost her a fortune, to get things spray painted. Surely, I could keep the shoes on the floor right. All this in front of my helpless colleague, who was wondering whether it was a good moment to be there.

Needless to say the potential tenants never did come back, petrified from her lesson in "how to keep your rented house clean".

Was it successful? Not sure about that. ;)

The signature for Life

I remember the time when I got tips from my relatives, reassuring me that giving my 10th std board exams would be the one thing that matters me for the rest of my life। As I stepped onto my 12th standard, i knew that wasnt enough। "The One" thing that mattered to me had changed। Well, to be frank, I see that happening anywhere and everywhere with parents. Sure, they do care for you but do they really believe in it themselves.

The time has come yet again. Yeah, almost a deja vu as my folks came up with the ultimate one liner: Its gonna be with you for the rest of your life. So here I was practising my signature, perfecting each and every stroke, to the last tittle. And guess what ...no two matched each other. And will they ever only time would tell.
